I would like to thank the wonderful and ever gracious Morrighan @ Elysian Fields for tagging me! All you have to do is answer the questions... so here we go!

I don't really have an expensive book or anything, I haven't even bought my own school textbooks yet, so I can't say those! I would have to say my hardcovers of some of Roald Dahl's books in Dutch. He was always a favourite author of mine, and has inspired me to write fiction for children.
As for inexpensive, it is those free books I get for review! One of which arrived yesterday, called The Canary Room... so expect a review of that soon!
2.) Wrath: Which author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Hm, this is a tricky question! I think it would be Ally Condie. I raced through her Matched series like no one else could, loving them, all except the last one which took me a while to read. A few days later I finally realized how boring those books actually were, and how slow paced and not that great at all! She has recently released a new book called Atlantia, and I don't know whether or not I should read it...

Oh, so many books I could say! I have never read all of the Mortal Instruments again, but I do pick it up every now and again and read my favourite chapters. But my final answer would have to be the Gone series by Michael Grant and Twilight!
I have read the first book in the Twilight series 5 times, and the second one 2, because I always promise myself I will read through them all again, but never get to do it because there is something else I have to read. I never get bored of them, and really will reread the series sometime!
As for the Gone series, the first book is one I read THREE times in a row with NO book in between. That means I read Gone, and then read it again, and then again, before moving on to another book. Yes, I was abroad with nothing else to read, but I absolutely loved it and wished I had the sequel there with me!
4.) Sloth: What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?
Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I really really want to read this... sometime. I have easy access to it but for some reason I am never bothered to pick it up :3
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLn8u8jHI0MEvz6b2L5EhRaqBDgnYx2bdA1-8idi96yIry5xszBrcErWn15AKczS10dYJvU5685YSpXS5Q5SEOivOKzL2g-7OMJzdZlMTlJTYBuR4F5qmDwWehCEwmb6UmjVGIExfQGFm8/s1600/sevendeadlysins2.png)
Any of the classics I have read! That could be 12 Years a Slave, Mansfield Park or Jane Eyre. Along the lines of that...
6.) Lust: What attributes do you find most attractive in male or female characters?
Hm, this is a difficult question for me because I am not into all those steamy reads that some people do read. And I don't find characters like Gale or Four to be the hottest characters ever either! I am all for someone loyal, funny or practical. Which means someone like Edilio from Gone or Reed from the Legacy.
7.) Envy: What books would you most like to receive as a gift?
I would probably most want to receive Snow Like Ashes because it has recently been released and looks awesome, or Cinder by Melissa Meyer because it has been on my TBR list the longest!

Olivia's Question: What is the book you would most like to receive as a gift?

Nice answers! I've noticed that everyone seems to hate Ally Condie's books. I haven't read anything by her but I'm positive I don't want to :/ I used to like Four until I read Allegiant because his POV made him look like a whiny character... and I never really found Gale hot. Nope. Also, I want Snow Like Ashes too!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Allegiant doesn't make him the cool, mysterious guy I always though her was. I hope we both get to read it!
DeleteI couldn't even finish Matched by Allie Condie! It was too boring as you said and also similar to Delirium which I'd already read and I have mixed feelings about that too! Four isn't my favourite book boyfriend after Allegiant, and I simply hate Gale. TEAM PEETA!
ReplyDeleteI really should read Delirium and get over my laziness xD But yes, I would agree, too boring! Nooo TEAM GALE! (at least, he was better than Peeta xD)
DeleteTEAM PEETA! I'm sorry but Gale could be blown up and burnt to the ground and I would only dance in his ashes. Peeta was always there for Katniss, whereas Gale was off being sulky most of the time and in between that designing bombs to kill Katniss' sister. TEAM PEETA
DeleteGrrr... Gale was always there before! It's not his fault that the Hunger Games came in and ruined what would've ended perfectly for him and Katniss.
DeleteHi there - quick thinking on your answers. As far as your question to your readers: What is the book you would most like to receive as a gift? -- I get a couple of gift cards for Christmas that I use to buy books that are too new and I can't get them through my library. Take Care! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh this means that time should be rolling around soon! I hope you spend it wisely and get things you will enjoy :)
DeleteThe whole set of Harry Potter! I would love to receive that as a gift and probably won't because they cost a fortune! XD
ReplyDeleteThis is a very interesting tag. I like the way it is linked with sins!
Ooh it's always nice to receive a favourite series in glossy new covers for your shelf! But yes, they probably are a bit pricey :P
DeleteThank you for the tag! This is a really interesting tag :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I need to read the Gone series myself!
I look forward to seeing your answers! And those books are truly great :)
DeleteI finally posted my response to this! It was so much fun to answer so thank you again for the tag ❤
DeleteThe Seven Deadly Sins version bookworm. This is a pretty fun tag! Classics are always a great way to make someone look intelligent, lol. I always use that trick! When Twillight first came out, I was addicted to it. I was obssessed by everything about that book. Nowadays, I'm not into that book anymore at all. But I can totally understand why you love this series that much.
ReplyDeleteYay, someone who understands! Lots of people seem to hate it just because other people do :P And yes, classic work magic, lol :P
DeleteA fun read! :D
ReplyDeleteHehe, thank you!
DeleteI think I would rather get a B&N giftcard, but in case I didn't I would like to get a leather bound copy of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Favorite book ever. Thanks for stopping by my blog Olivia!
ReplyDeleteNo problem ;) I haven't read that book by Jane Austen yet, but I have enjoyed many of her other ones! Giftcards are nice because then you can choose yourself :3
DeleteGreat answers! I love this tag. The Matched series really is SO boring!! I'm glad you finally realised it haha. And Four and Gale are very hot ;) That's definitely completely agreed there. Love your book taste! New follower xx

The Life of Little Me
Aww, thank you! Haha yeah, it took me some time but now my eyes have been opened :P
DeleteSuch a cool post. I've read the Twilight series around 5 times each, but I won't read them again 'coz I have outgrown them and they don't hold the same appeal anymore as they did 6 years ago. The book I've re-read the most would be the Harry Potter series. I've read it atleast 10 times. Though it's been a good 3-4 years since I last read it. After my exams!!
ReplyDeleteI understand what you mean about growing out of books. The ones you never grow out of are the best ;)
DeleteGreat answers and questions, I would have a hard time with some of questions though
ReplyDeleteSome of them were tricky!
DeleteYeah! Thanks for the tag. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've not read Delirium either, but I've heard really good things. One day... one day! Lol. I also read Matched (only the first one) super fast, but then I couldn't even finish the second one. It was a whole lot of nothing-is-happening. I'm actually going to be reading 12 Years a Slave for school soon!
No problem! Yes, we should both challenge ourselves to reading it. And yeah, that series does get quite boring. I hope you like the book!
DeleteAs I read through this, the Olivia's question is the only one I had to stop and think at. Um... I think... the lottie project by Jacqueline Wilson. It's the last one I need to read and apparantley really good. I especially loved Morrighan's questions and your answers told us a lot about you, especially how attached to books you are.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do love my books! I hope you do get to read that final Jacqueline Wilson one :)
ReplyDeleteI really did love this tag! Twilight is also the series that I devoured over and over again. Great answers girl, and thank you for taking the time to do this post (:
ReplyDeleteI am glad to know we have books in common! It was my pleasure because it was fun :)
DeleteBrilliant answers. I'd really love to get Snow Like Ashes for a gift too, I am dying to read that book. I enjoyed the Matched series and don't remember being as disappointed with the final book as everyone else was. I kind of feel like I need to reread it though to see how I feel then.
ReplyDeleteWell, a book can be for some people and not for others! I really am anticipating that read!
DeleteI need to get to Delirium too! :)
ReplyDeleteYes! It has been on my TBR for far too long xD
DeleteSorry if this gets posted twice, but I think I got an error the first time...
ReplyDeleteI love Ally Condie not for her stories, but for the characters' relationships--they feel real to me. And re Delirium: it's beautifully written, but if you thought not much happened in Match, even less happens in Delirium. It's mostly just beautiful angst.
Yes, I shall admit that the characters relationships were the best part of the novel. Hm, I'm not sure if Delirium is my thing then. Maybe I will try another Lauren Oliver book instead.
DeleteI still need to read Gone and Twilight! I've neglected Delirium due to laziness too...I'll get to it one day! :p
ReplyDeleteCinder was amazing and I so want to read Snow Like Ashes.
Great answers! :D
Ooh those are some good books! I hope you enjoy them like I did :D I can't wait to read those two!
