Recently a mate of mine (forced) me to re-watch Finding Nemo :P I had always remembered the film as okay and hadn’t bothered with it in years. I discovered after watching it recently that I absolutely love Dory and Nemo! I couldn’t stand Marlin, which turned out being the reason why I thought it was okay, seeing as he stars throughout the majority of the movie. There were many things that Finding Nemo taught me as well, so I made a list of my top 10!
1.
Be optimistic.
2.
If there is food it is MINE!
3.
It’s okay to name everything you set your eyes
on.
4.
Touch the clouds, because other people can't get to you that way.
5.
Sometimes you don’t know what is going to happen.
6.
Australian’s are cool.
7.
Don’t let a little disability stop you from
doing anything.
8.
Speaking whale is the best.
9.
You can be mates with people and you don’t have
to know their name.
10.
Just keep swimming!
What did you think of Finding Nemo?

Just keep swimming is the best advice ever :) I am not a huge fan of fish, but finding nemo is adorable :) x
ReplyDeleteI am not really a fishy person either, but this is an okay movie. Plenty of good advice though!
DeleteAwh! Finding Nemo is so cute. I've not actually watched it in ages. Maybe I should do that at some point!
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to check on old movies :D
DeleteMINE! MINE! MINE! I love Finding Nemo. And I can't wait for Finding Dory.

I have a confession, I've never actually watched Finding Nemo! I might at some point, but until I do it'll stay on the endless list of classic childhood films that I haven't seen :P (According to one of my friends I therefore had no childhood XD)

DD: You really need to go see this! You definitely have some childhood catching up to do ;)
DeleteI haven't watch this movie in ages, but my favorite motto is it's okay to name everything. Since me and my sister were kids we make up silly nicknames for any and everything. It's party of our silly secret sister language.
ReplyDeleteI used to do things like that too xD Oh the games you play when your younger with siblings...
DeleteLoved this movie, it makes me smile
ReplyDeleteIt is good, right?
DeleteMine!!! lol. I love this. Finding Nemo really does teach us important things to remember.
ReplyDeleteIt does, in a way. Yet still entertaining!
DeleteHAHA! I love this post!!! I actually have a post scheduled called What Disney Taught Me and it's the same sort of thing but with mostly Disney Classics. I am a total Disney kid at heart and I adore these films. I didn't even realise half the things you mentioned but I definitely knew that all food I see is MINE! :) Brilliant post
ReplyDeleteOoh I definitely look forwards to seeing that post. Indeed, Disney is awesome!
DeleteI love this movie! Great post!
ReplyDeleteHaha thank you :)
DeleteThis was a very fun post! I love the 'things you learned''. I have to admit, some of them were pretty wierd (like 2) but some of them were really cute (like 4) I especially like the meaning you got from four, I think it is my favourite one. This, overall, was just a really sweet post and I loved it. It was a very fun read and showed sides of you in ways you wouldn't imagine.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I am glad you liked it. It was one of those super easy posts to write as well, because everything just came naturally. You gotta have those serious points thrown in there amongst the silly :P
DeleteI love re-watching films, especially ones I watched when I was little. And I agree with you about Marlin, Dory is definitely a much more inspiring character. I especially like your point no. 4 , goes to show how a change of perspective can reveal new insights into films and books.
ReplyDeleteRe-watching memorable films is awesome <3 There are so many meanings in one film, it's just a matter of finding them all ^.^
DeleteFORCED you? Psssh. You loved it. admit the truuuuuth. xD
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love your ten things. And "be optimistic" is definitely the best. Dory is awesome. ^.^
Okay okay I diiiiid like it in the end >.>
