Sisterhood of the World Tag!

Morning!

I've been nominated by the wonderful Jennie over at A Bookworm Called Jennie! Thanks for the tag!
Let's begin!
Like all other tags and blogger award, there are a few rules:

1) Thank the blogger that nominated you and link back to their site
2) Post the award's logo on your blog
3) Answer the 10 questions you've been asked
4) Nominate 10 bloggers
5) Set 10 new questions for your nominees

Jennie's Questions!

1) What is a genre you rarely read by wish you did?

I rarely read mystery and detective novels, and I wish I read more of them!

2) Do you prefer to read lots of books at once or just one at a time?

I prefer reading one book at a time, but now that I have a book blog I end up reading approximately three at a time so that I can meet some of those request deadlines, and still do leisure reading!

3) Hardback, Paperback or Ebooks?

I love paperbacks most of all! I do end up reading a lot of ebooks though, because they are much cheaper!

4) If you could be one character in a novel for a day, who would you be?

Oh, this is definitely a tricky one! There are so many worlds I would love to go in. I rhink I would be Annabeth from Percy Jackson so I could have him as my boyfriend so that I could experience all the Greek mythology adventures for myself!

5) What do you like eating when you read?

I don't usually eat as I read because my mum doesn't like me doing so xD But I do have a cup of tea and maybe some chocolate digestives along with it.

6) When you read, do you do it in silence or listen to music and if so what songs are on your playlist?

Silence! I end up drowning out the music with my focus on the novel if there is any background music/noise anyway.

7) What was your first blog post/book review?

I posted 12 blog posts before I wrote my first book review, because I wasn't quite sure what I wanted this blog to specialize in. But the first review was of Allegiant.

8) Where is your favourite place to read?

In or on my bed. In fact, my bed is my favourite place to chill :P

9) What's your opinion on love triangles?

At first I was against them, but then I read a few books where it just seemed to work very well, like The Legacy, and now I am open minded. They can work, sometimes they don't, it's not the idea of love triangles but how well they are executed that matters.

10) Do you have any autographed books? If so which ones?

I only have one! I haven't been to many book signings, and the one I do have is The Fountain of the Earth by H. L. Le Roy.

I nominate:
Diane @ Fictionzeal
Tanja and Glass @ I'm a Reader, and you?

And whoever is reading this!

My Questions!

1) What is one of your favourite authors?
2) Ebooks, Paperback or Hardcover?
3) What is your favourite genre and why?
4) Why/when did you start your blog?
5) Why/when did you start to love reading?
6) If you could enter a fictional world for a day, which would it be?
7) Who would be your fictional boyfriend?
8) What is your opinion about love triangles?
9) If you could only read series or standalone books for the rest of your life, which would it be?
10) What is your favourite book blog to follow (Not your own, guys xD) and why?

Olivia's Question: Can you answer one of the above?

  1. Thank you for nominating me! I'll try to answer the question and do the post as soon as possible =)

I do love to read in my bed, especially in autumn/winter time. I feel so cozy and warm and perfect basically hahaha. I understand you would love to be Annabeth anytime (I would love to as well)... I mean, Percy!! He's so sassy is impossible not to love him (and is quite wrong to feel that way... I'm 23 LOL)

    1. No problem! I look forward to seeing yours! And yes, it is best to snuggle up in bed with a book when it's colder outside.

  3. This looks like a fun tag! I also prefer to read one book at a time. Whenever I read multiple ones, I tend to read less, which then makes me take a long time to get back to reading just one (this recently happened). I agree with you about love triangles. They can work if executed well.

    1. I hope you get a chance to do it too :D I can understand how you want to read less then, and it's hard to balance between them all.

  4. I read on my bed too! It is my favorite place. XD

  5. I don't often read mystery and detective novels either but on the odd occasion that I do, I really enjoy them. So like you, I really ought to read more!!

  7. Wow, I loved your answers! I haven't read Percy Jackson but I've heard a lot of good things about the novels, would you recommend them?
I also love drinking tea when I read books, my favourite biscuits tend to be custard creams hehe :P And I also have The Foundation of The Earth signed! I was sent a copy to review, probably like you :)

  9. It's good that you take on review requests! With uni, I just haven't been able to take ANY requests at all and I feel a bit bad about it, but life is like dajfaklhfdlfkas right now, hahaa.

Heck yes, another paper back lover! *high fives* I read a lot of ebooks too, though. xD My Kindle is a precious thing.

Hmmm, I haven't read Legacy, but if it changed your opinion of love triangles, I may just have to! :P Clockwork Princess made me a bit more tolerant of love triangles, lol.

    1. I haven't read Clockwork Princess, but I have the first in the series and I can't wait to try it! I love review requests, but I will admit my TBR is now never ending...

  10. Olivia,
Good answers. I am like you in many ways. I read on my bed too and like you, one book at a time. I also don't eat while I'm reading, although I don't mind music or the TV running in the background while I read.

  11. I loved your answers, and I found myself giggling at your Percy Jackson crush! I wish I could read in silence, but my roommate always has random people in and out of our apartment. I've perfected the art of reading while noisy college kids are screaming and playing beer pong throughout my house! haha (:

    1. Well, that is always a talent to have! Being able to drown everything out can sometimes be tricky :P

  12. Nice answers! Haha Percy (would actually make a pretty good boyfriend). Love triangles are tricky, if they're not well executed, it can easily bore/annoye the reader. But, when they're well done, they're seriously captivating. Whenever I'm seriously into the book, the world around stops to exist, too, lol. Books are that mesmerizing!

    1. Yes, I would agree with your love triangle opinion! Books <3

  13. If asked, I would still say hardcovers but Olivia introduced me to ebooks and I think my opinion might change after experimenting a bit more with ebooks. I agreed with a lot of your questions (my bed is my favourite place in the house, not only puts the mind at rest but is a great place to get it thinking like when i'm reading, writing or drawing on it) I always find an interview for a blog quite hard to stay fun and active but I think you do it perfectly, I wonder how.
