YOU GUYS THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING GO READ IT RIGHT NOW
*ahem*
As I was going to say, I loved every single aspect of
this book. Yes. It blew me away! It was something new for me because I have
never read a book including zombies, so this was a new concept to me. But the
way they were used here, and the whole idea of this book was just dripping
originality. I have never read a book like this one before, which makes me love
it all the more. On top of that, it was amazingly well written, funny and
deserves a lot more publicity than it already has!
There was a love triangle in this story, but it wasn’t
the main focus of this book and did a good job of adding something to the
story. What was also a twist to this love story was that one competitor was
male, and the other female. Which was something I didn’t expect. #TeamLane

I recommend this to all mature readers! There is some
language in this book and brief sex scenes/mentions. It gets the big five stars
from me!

A very scary cover!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely one that suits the book :D
DeleteI'm not a big fan of books involving zombies but I'm glad you have enjoyed this story so much.
ReplyDeleteI usually am not too, but this one was exceptionally well done!
DeleteHi Olivia - since this is not your preferred genre, did you have misgivings before you read it? It is certainly original! Thanks for the review. :)
ReplyDeleteI did have a few misgivings, especially as I knew zombie books often go wrong. But I think books like this prove that it is good to try something out of your comfort zone every now and again.
DeleteThe twisty plot sounds good!
ReplyDeleteIt really was!
DeleteI was very impressed with this book. And the sequel, that was released about a month ago. 8^>
ReplyDeleteOh, I am pleased to have met someone who has read it! I have yet to read the sequel, but I am looking forward to when I get to ^.^

ReplyDeleteI really hope you do!
DeleteSounds like a really interesting sci-fi read. Thanks for the rec!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to read it :)
DeleteI'm not a big zombie or sci-fan but your description intrigued me. If you had not mentioned zombies I would not have guessed that they were part of the plot. Seems like it may be an interesting read.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind sci-fi but usually I am not for zombies either. This changed that though! It really is, and I highly recommend it!
DeleteNice honest review
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteBrilliant review! I haven't heard of this before but your review is definitely selling me on it!!! :) I will definitely be trying to get a copy of this to read, it sounds amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh I think you would love this ^^
DeleteNinjas, definitely. Was the beginning part written in italics done by you or was it the blurb of the book, same for that part at the end? I think I much preferred when you labeled things like review, blurb, interview, etc. I loved your enthusiasm on the book and it definitely rubbed off on the readers. I'm also not the zombie type, but I still really want to read this!
ReplyDeleteI thought that putting it in red might make it clear, but to be sure I will label it. I hope you do get to read it at some point in the future!
