I'll skip things because I just don't feel like I can do it, but then I get the guilt haha. I also need a few days to myself after I do go out and socialise. But I do wish I could push myself to be more extroverted at times. I'm just really bad with people, haha! But... around my friends... I AM SO LOUD! It's so strange, it's just new people that I can't talk around. I'm all about going out on a limb to make new friends (even if I make a fool of myself). I do have to say that a lot of the self-proclaimed blogger introverts are a WHOLE LOT less introverted than they think they are. Every one I have met has been just as awesome in person as they are online. I've met some incredible introverts in my day, so I definitely have nothing negative to say on that subject! And you're right about the ultimate and pretty much only difference - the way we expend our energy. Introverts can do amazing things. A book called Quiet by Susan Cain, if I got the authors name right, shows this very well.Olivia's Catastrophehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12706765857201768908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964812786330789100.post-75111891443256211232014-12-14T01:32:16.268+01:002014-12-14T01:32:16.268+01:00I'm a super proud introvert. My mother is also a non-shy introvert and has been training me in the ways of social interaction. :-)

My sister, on the other hand, is a total extrovert, so I've been really able to compare the two types of people. I see introverts as being people who revitalize by being alone, and using up energy through social interaction. And then extroverts are those who revitalize through social interaction, and use up energy through alone time. That's all there is to it.

The world, though, is geared for extroverts, so it sees introversion as either 1) shyness, 2) lack of teamwork abilities, or 3) lack of initiative. Which is sad. Because introverts make great leaders, if you let us lead.Sophiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00113180708896008365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964812786330789100.post-46311145677347801472014-12-09T16:57:21.448+01:002014-12-09T16:57:21.448+01:00I just read the article and I agree with it too! Like you, I can be social when the circumstances require such behavior, but I love reading, writing, and baking. All activities that I do alone. Some people are unable to enjoy being alone, which I think is too bad because you can learn alot about yourself when you have time to hear yourself think. Introvert or extrovert, God made us all, warts and all. Many extroverts like to make introverts feel inferior. We are simply different, not inferior.
