I always love it when people manage to balance the issues without coming down too heavily on the judge-y side.<br /><br />We had a prom - but to be honest, I only went because my friends were. And most of them (and most of the teachers) then proceeded to get blind stinking drunk. We didn't have a prom queen (thank god for that.) And even though I sort of enjoyed myself, I'm glad that I was one of the first to leave... even if my drunk English teacher did lurch out into the road as my father's car pulled out, and nearly get run over by us.
