Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon Sign Up!

Hey there!

Just a short post here from me today! I wanted to let you all know I have signed up for the 2015 Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon! It runs from the 14th of September to the 23rd! Why did I sign up? Because I have a massive TBR pile in my room, and one on my kindle, and I am going to try and cut a chunk out of it! Mostly I am going to be reading books for my 2015 reading challenge as I am trying to finish that off soon (and hopefully early.)

The books I hope to read are:

13 Little Blue Envelopes
Isla and the Happily Ever After
For a Fee of 2 Shillings
The Goldfinch

I invite YOU to join in with the challenge! Sign up here!

Olivia's Question: What was the last read-a-thon you participated in? Have you read any of these?

    1. I hope it won't be too stressful! I will be in school throughout so if I feel like I can't keep up I am just going to take it easy and slack off. I don't want any pressure, just fun!

  2. The BookTube-A-Thon was my last read-a-thon. I am not sure I will join this one because although I have lots of unread books I am in no rush to read them.

  5. Tackle that TBR girl! I need to be tackling mine, but I have to go a little at a time. If I stop putting others before some, I think I;ll knock some of mine out soon. I have The Goldfinch on audio but haven't listened to it yet. Happy reading!

  6. Hi, Olivia - I hope you like The Goldfinch. Many people did. Unfortunately, I didn't really care for it as much. Good idea for a read-a-thon. I do have a lot of those and was just reviewing them a couple of days ago.

  9. I've had enough readathons for the rest of the year I think since the last time I did one (the Booktubeathon), I got into the biggest slump ever but I wanna read The Goldfinch so badly! I've heard nothing but amazing things about Donna Tartt but I wanna read The Secret History before The Goldfinch. Good luck on the readathon Olivia!

    1. Although readathons are helpful, yes, sometimes you feel drained after all that reading :/ I hope you enjoy The Secret History once you get to it!

  13. I have actually never participated in a read-a-thon, but this one sounds perfect for me, my TBR pile is massive! The first week back at uiversity has been bussy, but perhaps I'll participate as well!

I've read 13 Little Blue Envelopes some years ago and remember loving it, it really made me want to travel!
